This just got even more interesting!

Also side note for rotating sprites so they don't have that jagged look like in panel 4, if you use photoshop, go to file>preferences>general and switch the image interpolation mode from "nearest neighbor" to "bicubic." Be sure to switch it back to nearest neighbor though after otherwise whenever you resize sprites, they will be blurry!
