I'm enjoying your comic so far! Just a suggestion though, maybe you should make certain Pokemon bigger?
I know Drapion is a lot bigger than a Mankey.
But Overall, I like where this going.

@TheSpriterZ: Yeah, that's something I've been trying to work on. The thing is there's only so much I can do to resize sprites without them looking either awfully disfigured or awfully dispropotionate when compared to humans...
I'm currently trying to work with 3D models - I can get my hands on many of these, but they're hard to work with, and may not look good most of the time... I'm also considering using HGSS style sprites (I have a bigger range of Pokémon with these), but these give me less poses and limit what I can do with the Pokémon...
If you have any suggestions I'm happy to consider them.

@migasand: One thing I find helps with the sizing of the pokemon is actually blowing up the characters too. For "The Taken" whenever I like to do the Characters at either 600% or 800% larger than the originals, and if thats the case I have more room to size up the Pokemon to be a more appropriate size. Try working with scaling some of the panels and working with some close-ups!
